Experience Our Stages of Faith Framework
If you’re looking to enrich your spiritual life and find deeper meaning as a disciple of Jesus, Lakeland Community Church offers a Stages of Faith framework. This framework follows a common path for spiritual development from the discovery of one’s faith through a commitment to a life of love and service.
Along this Stages of Faith journey, many members choose to participate in contemplative retreats that honor ancient traditions in the Christian faith that bring us closer to ourselves, our God, and each other.
Start your Stages of Faith journey by participating in two introductory opportunities: a five-minute welcome meeting before or after our 10:30 a.m. Sunday service and four 30-minute Discover Lakeland sessions before worship at 9:45 a.m. Join us.
A Chance To Serve at Our Lee’s Summit Church
Service is an important way to feel connected to God, turn faith into concrete action, and contribute to our mission of “belonging and becoming who we are in Jesus.” Whether you see yourself lending your skills and heart for service at our local church near you or participating in mission work, Lakeland has an opportunity for you:
Serving at Lakeland: Find a way to use your God-given talents through family ministry, hospitality, care for our facility, our worship band, and more.

Providing clothing to those in need is an act of mercy that is emphasized by Jesus in Matthew 25. Lakeland Community Church is happy to share our Blessing Closet, where families can share and receive gently used children’s clothing for free.
If you’re in need or you wish to donate, stop by and see us right after our church services near you. You can also schedule an appointment to donate or browse our selection of clothing at your convenience.
Use the Athletic Field at Our Lee’s Summit Church
Not all local churches near you serve as both a place of worship and a place to gather for athletic practices, team-building, and more. Rent our athletic field for your indoor turf practices, including soccer, lacrosse, softball, baseball, and ultimate Frisbee (we are unable to accommodate football at this time).
