Background

 

Jodi Turnbough grew up in South Central part of state, in a small town called Houston, MO. She went onto to college at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She also met her husband, Matt Turnbough there and they moved to Blue Springs in 2006. Jodi later got her Masters in Administration in Education from University of Central Missouri. Jodi has a wide variety of experience in the education field where she has taught 1st and 5th grades, was an Elementary Assistant Principal, and worked with students with special needs.

Jodi and Matt Turnbough have 3 children, John, Sophia and Nora. They have been attending Lakeland Community Church for almost 11 years.

 

 

 

Personal Memory

Every summer, growing up, my family would go to the beach. I remember walking with my mom, dad and brother in the evenings, looking at the sunsets, and picking up sea shells. I love the feeling of sand between my toes and the water splashing around my ankles.

Hobbies

 

Jodi loves being a mom and helping her children go on adventures and experience life.  Jodi has a passion for students, especially students ages Kindergarten through 4th grade. She loves seeing them learn and experience new things. She is passionate about helping set a foundation of God’s love to students at this particular age. Jodi feels very fortunate to be in a job that she has a passion for as the the Campfire Director.
